POE-8M Rugged Power over Ethernet (POE) switch combines QoS and VLAN with 802.3af remote power for standard network cabling up to 100 meters, remotely manageable from any Web browser or SNMP Manager. We designed the POE-8M for larger Wi-Fi deployments requiring multiple Access Points (APs) and VLAN.
A single POE-8M unit provides complete power and data for eight (8) access points that can be remotely power cycled. A remotely manageable PoE switch saves costly on-site visits. Deploying the POE-8M is more cost effective than a separate VLAN switch and mid-Span PoE hub, dramatically lowering your infrastructure costs, and increasing your Return on Investment.
